If I could open the radar, tap a spot to place a pin, label it cop, and then share that to everyone, it would be sweet.
Or share locations for any other reason...3 votes
The same as the normal connection feature, except when a connection posts anon, you still see that you're connected5 votes
With the increased volume of posts comes the need for more dislikes.6 votes
I'm 22 but my age still says 21 and there's no way to change it. Not that it matters much but it seems like something you should be able to do or else it should update based on your birthday.18 votes
Designing the app to use on a computer website or MacBook App Store.3 votes
erodr is app only, and we kind of want to keep it that way. We like telling users that their info, pics and posts are NOT searchable on the web. Not by parents, employers NADA!
Thanks for posting your suggestion!
Your anonymous post should come back if it's eroded like dislikes do. Or we should be able to have 3 anonymous again.1 vote
Hey Michael thanks for posting your feedback!
The reason anonymous posts are limited is to prevent a “faceless community” from developing.
erodr is growing fast and as we grow, more anons are being used. Faceless communities are just no fun. So we limited this feature.
Thanks again for posting!
Thank you for your idea. Our team talked about this and in an effort to keep the peace, we’re going to keep dislikes anonymous.
Please note, all erodr users have a max # of 5 active dislikes (meaning you lose a dislike for each “live post” you dislike, and you only get them back when the post erodes)….so the “haters” can only hate so much :)
Many people have the same names and initials and sometimes it tags the wrong Rodie. If we could personalize our handles like we do on Twitter, then it'd send notifications to the correct person 100% of the time when they are tagged in posts.4 votes
Thank you for posting to the product forum!
This is great feedback. We’re actually working on a private message feature so rodies can communicate more easily on erodr. This will be available with the next erodr release.
We’re probably not going to allow custom handles like Twitter only because we want folks on erodr to use real names.
Our team will definitely revisit the @mention feature to come up with a solution for making tags more reliable.
Have a great Thursday! :)
Make it to where once you approve a follower (or even a friend) it shows a link to their Facebook/Twitter/Instagram/Phone number (if info was given). Also allow the option to import things from those sites (eg. pictures, videos, etc.). It is erodr, so it's not as open, but it should be an option if some would like.6 votes
Declined for now. If this gets more votes we might re-examine.
Thanks for posting!
On people's profile show how many total upvotes they have for all their self and anon posts from all time. Also how many upvotes and downvotes they have given out or just an upvote/downvote ratio13 votes
Our team talked about this idea and we think it might showcase too much about a user.
We currently want to take the “less is more” approach to ensure privacy on erodr.
Great idea though. Keep em’ coming!
I think this needs to be similar to a twitter or Facebook feed. Nothing expires you can see everything still as long as you keep scrolling. Also it would be nice to see everything we have posted listed on our profile page1 vote
Hi and thanks for posting your idea!
Erodr is different from Facebook and Twitter in that you can see what’s happening NEAR you like RIGHT NOW.
So we’re probably not going to preserve old posts as it does kind of defeat the purpose of erodr.
However, our product team IS talking about allowing rodies to keep their most popular posts on their profiles (if they want). So this could be available soon.
Thanks again for posting. Have a great day :)
Have a web page available so that you can use erodr on the computer. Instead of only being able to access from phone8 votes
Thanks for the feedback. Our team has thought hard about this one. Remember – when something is available on the web it is “searchable” on the web (by future employers, parents, etc). The one thing we love about erodr is that NOTHING is searchable! It’s very private. If your idea gets enough votes we’ll certainly give it some more consideration.
Thanks again for posting and please keep the ideas comin’
If you make a public comment, only the people who ALSO have made public comments on the post can see the other public comments.
any user can comment privately so that the original poster can see.
both public and private comments show up in the same stream to the poster.
Any public reply will be able to be viewed by all public commenters. However, if a private comment is replied to by the poster, a message bubble pops up asking to direct message the user who privately commented.4 votes
Our team discussed this idea and we decided to leave comments predominantly private. So I’m marking this idea as “declined” (for now).
The Good News:
Two new features will go out soon that will change the way rodies are able to communicate:
1) Comments on Friends Only posts will be visible to mutual friends of the poster.
2) New Private Message feature will allow easy conversation b/t rodies.
Thank you again for posting your product idea and have an amazing Thursday!
Do away with location services: for the app, it does two things; drains our iPhones from using it, and deters some users who don't like where they are to be tracked. The reason I would say its not something useful is because we sign up via our school email anyway..5 votes
Our team is talking about this.
it's boring only being able to read the actual post and not replies as well7 votes
There have been a few students who have brought this up. We totally hear you guys.
But right now, it seems the majority of students are really liking the private comments so we’re going to leave it alone.
However we are kicking around the idea of allowing posters to respond to comments on their posts. We think this would add some value while retaining privacy (we’re big on privacy).
Thanks for posting your feedback. It’s much appreciated.
Be able to see who liked and disliked other people's posts15 votes
Thank you for posting this idea. Our team has talked about this idea at length.
While there are def. some good reasons to make “likes” visible, we kinda think at the moment, students are really loving the extra privacy.
So for now, we’re going to leave this one alone :)
Profiles should include a following and followers list to help find more people who use the app21 votes
For now this is declined. We’re trying to keep erodr pretty private. We may revisit this down the road…..

Give users the ability to post anonymous comments to anonymous posts.11 votes
Declined for now. More important things to do :)
I would like to be able to view friends comments on posts and reply to comments left on my posts. Also of there was a way to engage in such conversation with friends on erodr while remaining anonymous would be cool. Hope this makes sense...31 votes
We decided not to do this. Greater number of students love the privacy!
Thanks for your feedback :)
I want to be able to find and add my friends without posting or finding them in the streamer19 votes
Note: This idea was originally posted by me on behalf of user feedback via the erodr activity streamer.
After thorough discussion of this idea, our team decided erodr is unique in that if you do not post, you are practically invisible. We love this about erodr and we’ve discovered most users are enjoying the privacy.
So at this time, we will not be adding a search function.
To find a friend on erodr you can easily @mention them and they can @mention you.
You will show up in each others notifications!
We sincerely thank you for your feedback and interest in erodr.
